DESCRIPTION:
Shubhalekha (Telugu: శుభలేఖ,
English: Wedding Invitation) is a 1982 Telugu film which stars
Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The movie directed by K. Viswanath was his
first collaboration with Chiranjeevi. After making Saptapadi, in which
he dealt with the social stigma of caste system, K. Viswanath followed
up with this film in which he dealt with the social malady of the dowry
system and is inspired from famous writer Gurazada Venkata Apparao's
work Kanyasulkam.
